My first solo event gig for Lewis & Clark! They didn't pay me, but I did get a free pass to go to the super fancy meet-and-greet with one of my childhood heroes, Bill Nye the Science Guy. The event itself was pretty interesting - Bill talked about his life and the work he has been doing lately before taking questions from students. The meet-and-greet afterwards was mostly a "selfie with Bill" extravaganza, but it was still really fun. And his blazer and bow tie combo (see photo) was out of this world.
