Today I went to my first gallery opening! The show, Intersecciones: Havana/Portland at the Hoffman Gallery for Contemporary Art, is a showcase of six young Cuban artists who have all made work that considers the history of Portland. The project, is a conversation between two crossroads of the Americas and was really wonderful to see and take part in.
